LG Optimus X2 Smartphone
LG has launched its new Optimus X2 for the Indian market. The Android-based phone comes with the price tag of Rs. 30,000.
The world’s first Dual Core processor smartphone, as the company claims, comes powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 2. The smartphone runs on Android 2.2, which can be upgraded to the Android’s next Version OS 2.3 aka Gingerbread.
“It is an exceptional smartphone as it delivers powerful performance with the dual-core processor, as well as enhanced user interface and multimedia experience,” LG Electronics India Business Head for Mobile Communication, Vishal Chopra, was quoted as saying.
The 4-inches touchscreen mobile is equipped with 8 mega pixels camera and has 512MB RAM plus 8GB internal storage. The phone’s memory can be expanded up to 32 GB.
The LG Optimus 2X smartphone will be available in India around the third week of April. Besides, the company is planning to launch 10 more devices in the Optimus range in the next six months.
